Claudia focuses predominantly in the employment based and corporate immigration law, including advising corporations in the filing of temporary resident and permanent resident visa applications, as well as Mexican citizenship applications. Claudia also advises clients on compliance and related issues, and has experience assisting in global business and international business transactions.
A native of Mexico, Claudia maintains a diverse international background. She received a Bachelor of Laws with focus on international law from the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESO, Guadalajara) in 2001. Having the experience to work both in-house and in law firm settings, Claudia focused her practice in Mexico in corporate law, international business and sports law. She has represented a wide array of clients including a Professional Soccer Club, and various medium to large corporations. She graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law with a concentration in business law, receiving her Master of Laws in 2013.
Claudia is licensed to practice law in Mexico and New York State. She is an active member of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
